Medical Rates for 2024 have Increased for All
UCNet article (artículo en Español) explains the reason for the increase.
Employers across the United States have been hit with premium increases due to a number of factors, including increased utilization of healthcare services, higher prescription drug costs, and more high-cost claims.
To help protect UC employees, and their families from rising premiums, UC approved a significant budget increase for 2024 — an additional $84 million for employees. These additional subsidies directly reduce premiums for employees.
